A proud product of the Orchid City of Mindanao, Dipolog - Atty. Opendo forged ahead and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2018.

He later pursued his Juris Doctor degree at the San Beda College - School of Law, where he led various organizations. He served as the Executive Vice President of the San Beda Law Debate Circle (LDC) in 2023 and as the Executive Vice President for Finance of the San Beda Human Rights Advocates (HRA) in 2021. Atty.

Opendo was also a member of the San Beda Council of Moot and Debate (CMD), The Barrister, and the San Beda International Law Society (ILS).

In 2021, Atty. Opendo worked for the Department of Finance (DOF) as a Senate Legislative Officer, where he lobbied for the passing of priority measures related to Taxation and Human Rights.

In 2023, he joined Safeway-Philtech of Albertsons Companies, a United States-based company, where he focused his practice on Real Estate, Property Management, and Contracts.

In 2025, he became an Underbar Associate at Gargantiel Ilagan & Atanante Law until he passed the 2025 #AMYingForExellence Bar Examination.

In the present, Atty. Opendo, a Junior Associate of the Atanante & llagan Law (Al Law), is a rising lawyer who handles a wide range of cases in Civil Law, Criminal Law, Labor Law, Election Law, and Corporation Law.
