Atty. Edwin obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2020, where he was recognized as a Distinguished Law Intern of the Office of Legal Aid. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar after passing the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations.

While in law school, he worked in the Department of Finance, handling tax, duty exemption and revenue matters under the Revenue Operations Group. He later joined the International Finance Group, and handled procurement related matters, assisted in foreign loan and grant negotiations, international cooperation policy, and the review of end-to-end transaction documents for sovereign global bond offerings, contributing to the successful execution of around USD15 billion in commercial bonds.

After his work in government, he subsequently honed his skills at a law firm in Ortigas, where he handled civil, criminal, and labor litigation, as well as corporate, immigration, and real estate matters. He thereafter served as in-house litigation counsel for a large Philippine conglomerate and its various subsidiaries, where he handled litigation across courts and quasi-judicial agencies while advising on corporate, labor, real estate, and regulatory concerns. His practice combines strong litigation experience with strategic corporate advisory work, allowing him to provide practical and business-oriented legal solutions.
