Atty. Rowell D. Ilagan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from De La Salle University Manila, graduating cum laude, before obtaining his Juris Doctor from San Beda University, where he graduated as Salutatorian. His academic excellence laid the foundation for a career defined by distinction, leadership, and sustained achievement in the legal profession.

Since 2022, he has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in the Philippines by Asia Business Law Journal, and he remains the youngest lawyer to be included in the prestigious list. This continued recognition reflects his exceptional legal acumen, public trust, and influence across litigation, governance, and policy-making. His work has earned national visibility through high-profile cases and appearances in legislative investigations, where his legal strategies and testimony have contributed to significant court decisions and key legislative measures.

Atty. Ilagan is the Managing Partner of Atanante and Ilagan, leading a team that handles complex and high-stakes matters in litigation and dispute resolution, corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, and labor. He is also an active member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

Beyond practice, he serves as a law professor and Bar review lecturer, mentoring future generations of lawyers. In 2025, he was elected the youngest President of the IBP Quezon City Chapter, where he champions legal aid, institutional reform, and public legal education- reinforcing his reputation as a lawyer not only of the courts, but of the people.
